Dear colleagues and friends,
Although the academic activity that ISHNE is developing through the Internet is permanent and continuing, virtual Symposia highlight these activities.
A proof of this is that once again, we are meeting "virtually" to start the 1st Worldwide Internet Symposium on Drug-Induced QT Prolongation. The colleagues that have accompanied us usually, can attest that over the next few days the main world figures on this topic will provide a brilliant update on this subject, which awakes interest in the medical environment, especially in cardiological forums, and once again will be able to experience the intellectual enjoyment of interacting with them, as soon as the Discussion Forum is enabled.
The colleagues that for the first time are approaching this type of activities, will surely agree with them by the end of the programmed schedule.
As usual when we open an event with a brief opening speech, we send an enthusiastic thank you to the group of Faculties that accompany the President of the Symposium, Dr. Wojciech Zareba, in the task of updating the topic to its highest level; to the sponsors that make this possible with their efforts; and to all the participants that honor us with their presence. Likewise, we thank the technical team, that with their talents have made this a reality.
Thus, we open the deliberations of the 1st Worldwide Internet Symposium on Drug-Induced QT Prolongation.
