Dear colleagues:
I am enjoying imensely the proceedings of the Forum of the First International Symposium on Long QT Syndrome on the Internet. The quality of the presentations and the exchanges among the participants provide for a unique experience, which for sure is going to set a new standard.
I would like to echo the sentiments of our colleague from Argentina (Dr. Zabala) about the contribution of the Symposium, and what a paradigm for future designs of programs this efrfort has generated.
Big congratulations to the organizers!!!!

Dear Dr. Dubner and Dr. Schapachnik:
I believe many others may have the same feeling, I would like thank you, the LQTS-Forum committee, the organizers of the LQTS Registry, the faculty members and the heros who do the translations. This is one of the most effective LQTS symposium I have ever participated. It is very educational and interactive. We take a great advantage to gain knowledge

I, too, would like to add my deep appreciation for all the hard work by the organizers.I learned a great deal and would suggest that the presentations and a compilation of questions and responses be put together in monograph form. Thanks again for a superb effort.I think this kind of approach will serve as a model for future educational endeavors.
Thanks for a job well done.

I'd like to express a THANK YOU, MASTER! Further to the colleagues, Dr. Arthur Moss, our neighbors from Argentina, Drs. Edgardo Schapachnik and Sergio Dubner, the translators already known by all of us, the participants, as anonymous heroes, since there is no doubt about the effort they are making, and without them this Symposium would not have been possible. Thank you, and congratulations!

Dr. Jaime Cowan – Panamá

Dear friends from the forum:
First, I want to congratulate specially Edgardo, and also Sergio and Dr. Perez Riera, who usually through their endless generosity and excellence, enable us to access knowledge and get in touch with the most important figures on the topic; something that otherwise would be impossible for us; thanks to the translators, the experts that offer themselves to talk, giving flesh to the phrase: "Knowledge is everyone's right, and not the property of a few."

Dr. Alberto Barsesa

Dear colleges!
Our forum is very important for understanding of a diversity of the LQTS-associated problems. But I'm anxious that most of the Russian physicians could not take an opportunity to participate in this one due to some traditional organizational features: to haven't a wide distribution Internet in the hospitals and to know foreign language insufficiently. I don't know whether it is being correctly to made moderate resume of the LQTS-symposium in Russian for publication in Russian medical journal with all obligatory references. What are your opinions?
Kindly regards

Dr. Elena Zaklyazminskaya

With all due respect, I think that this should be disseminated all over the world since the experiences of all the panelists are very extended, and the final effort is for all of us to learn about this syndrome that is quite complex. I live in the city of MEXICO, and I'm deeply grateful for this subject, since being a clinical cardiologist, it opens a new perspective for me to be able to diagnose LQTS syndrome. Thanks to the entire forum for their GREAT WORK.

Jose R. Moreno Villanueva
Mexico

Congratulations for this very intersting symposium.

Alexoudis Apostolos MD, Greece

Thank you very much for all your efforts. I think that it was a real success. Unfortunately, this month of April was too busy for me, not allowing to take actively part in the discussions but I tried to read the comments as carefully as possible.
Best regards

It is important to emphasize how much this forum has contributed to the knowledge of a new entity that the clinical cardiologist does not handle easily. In Mexico, we have difficulties to recognize it, at least in the provinces where there is no lab to check this entity. Now, with the help and addresses provided, you have opened a great perspective for us, and I want to thank personally the great help for the knowledge you have contributed to continuing education: the forum was very educational. I hope to be part of other forums that you may offer to us. Thanks to all the people that made this forum possible.

Jose R. Moreno Villanueva

Dear Edgardo,
I want to express by this means to all the scientific community, my deepest gratefulness to all the organizers and participants of this great event. I want to thank you for all you have presented us with, your extensive experience and your great capacity and scientific significance.
Sincerely,

Dear Edgardo:
I want to congratulate for the succes of the congress. I had a short time to participate in the same because I had some disapointment, but I promise to visit in the future the ISHNE web, and learn more about of LQTS. Congratulation for the other organizers as well.

Eduardo Quiñones

I'd like to express my most sincere gratefulness for giving me the chance to participate in this wonderful Symposium. It was really interesting and I truly made the most of it. Thank you.

It's been a great honor to have participated in this forum, where I have learnt a lot, while from the beginning I have a concern that bothers me. If you feel the same way, then we could look for a way to make another good deed. It is the following: I think that many sports federations and associations from all over the world, have had cases of sudden death in much and moderate strain, without prior symptomatology, or not knowing the family history, due to ignoring it, or due to not knowing what to look for, or how to do it. Today, in this forum, a very shining tunnel is open to us right now, but that maybe was very dark until very recently. I imagine that most of the physicians that are working in health care in these federations and associations, do not know about the topic of this forum, considering that just by knowing in depth this exciting topic, we can prevent many sudden and not sudden deaths. My non-utopian idea is finding a formula to reach all those responsible physicians of sports medicine of all the countries of the hemisphere, with a substantial summary of this forum, and emphasize the real intention of this summary.
My dear organizers of this wonderful forum, I not only want to thank you immensely for organizing and for the great success of this forum, but I invite you to not allowing your thought to tremble at learning that this forum has filled several seas beyond what you have imagined, and with the help you consider necessary, accept the challenge that the knowledge from this forum has to reach faraway places, where it is extremely necessary to save people, which is our destiny.
